THE BRIEF
The goal was to replace ambiguity with alignment by creating shared data models, consistent workflows, and a system that could carry clean, reliable information from the very first touchpoint through the entire project lifecycle.
Designed and led the design and development of an internal project management platform aimed at creating a single source of truth across the organization. The initial phase focused on building a quoting tool to address a critical gap: departments were relying on different tools, formats, and handoffs, resulting in misalignment and data loss before projects even began. This phase established shared data structures, standardized workflows, and cross-functional alignment, setting the foundation for a scalable, end-to-end project management system.
THE PROBLEM
The problem wasn’t a lack of tools, it was a surplus of disconnected ones quietly sabotaging each other. Each department was operating in its own orbit, using different formats, systems, and handoff processes, which meant that by the time a project moved from opportunity to execution, critical information had already been diluted, misinterpreted, or lost entirely. Quoting, as the first step in this chain, exposed the cracks most clearly: inconsistent data, back-and-forth clarifications, and delays that stretched what should have been a straightforward process into days.
